Making Wii look better without progressive scan
I got lucky last night. While fooling around with the options on the Wii I decided to try out the 16:9 wide screen settings. Since my TV has an "enhanced for 16:9" setting I decided to try it out.
Good god! It almost looks like progressive scan now! The image on the screen is wider in field of view and, because the image is not as tall (compressed top to bottom) I can't even see the normal scan lines going across. It looks teh awesome now.
