  • Are you guys willing to ship to England for the right price?

The problem is we would have to pay import duty, it's not really worth it unfortunately.
  • I personally am on a budget but I would still pay almost anything for a nice dark navy blue polo shirt with a logo over the left breast and and bigger version on the back

I ordered a shirt from Little Gamers once, $10 T-shirt mailed from America (I assume that's where the printer was) for $5, which in my opinion wasn't bad at all.

then check the Exchange rate for today...
    1 British pound = 2.0444 U.S. dollars :)
Makes me wish I could think of some things I could order from the US.

  • To be quite honest, I would love a form fitting hoodie/shirt with a cute design. I don't really want the generic "Geeknights (Insert day of the week here)" polo. I'd be willing to pay as long as it's a good design. ^__^

It might just be because I'm a teen, but I want something really colorful.

Which Is why I said "For the right price" I would of course be willing to pay any extras. You say it wouldn't be worth it? To who? If I'm willing to pay the extra, then I obviously consider it worthwhile, and It would spread the "Geeknights" word to an international audience. Oh go on please, at least consider it..
P.S. I often buy things from the States on Ebay and have never had problems and the seller never mentions import duty.

Make sure everything you send is a "gift".

Please don't forget the fatties like me. Hey, take into account that many of us computer/gamer nerds are fat. I myself am XXXXL. Sites never make shirts that will fit me, dang it!

  • I second that. I'm not a super fatty, but I am really tall, and I have REALLY wide shoulders. I can wear a 2x, but a 3x is more comfortable for me. Hell, I have trouble finding a 2x that is long enough.

I would go with a tall T, or like a baggy shirt.

  • American Apparel and Alternative Apparel make good quality, sweatshop-free shirts. American Apparel seems to be a bit more widespread with printers.

It should be made of some really good material. Then I would pay a lot.

  • Can we get an update on this, Scyrm?
  • The first tee shirt is coming soon.
Probably American Apparel, 3 Color on Dark Red. Will be out in time for the summer con season.

Two words on the Style: Russian Propaganda
The slogan? Get the hell off my internets! (the word "hell" replaced with the russian translation.)
Later this week I shall post the illustration in a separate thread.
  • Thanks, Gomidog. Sounds interesting.
I think we may need a new Name soon. I propose Scrymily.
  • Scrymily.
The three then pulled an anime mecha combine sequence and became the Scrymilyzoid! Run for your life before it destroys the internets!

    *KABOOM!*

Well..there goes 4chan. Looks like they're eying Digg next! *BOOM*

Yeah, but American Apparel does have semi-pornographic ads.
  • We'll likely make this shirt a poster as well. Even the initial designs are high quality. ^___^

What company are you using to print the shirts?
Have you looked into this place?

A coworker of mine who made T shirts for an ARG called "come out and play" recommended them. They are in Brooklyn.

That's the word I was using. I also have a Russian translation of the full phrase.

You should add an image of russian mario from that flash video a while back...

  • I prefer the paper version of the Stalin Mario.

Whatever. I'd be more upset about their CEO being a creepy bastard.

Oh man, thanks Sail, I laughed too loud at that.

He is a sunnuvabitch all right. Just like my battle with the health food store (I want to support their non-animal tested cosmetics and natural, locally grown food but not their Randi homeopathy crap) my feelings about American apparel are complex. I like the American made, simple clothing, hate the advertising and loathe that perv that runs the whole shebang. I want to support the company without supporting him.
  • I don't know much about this subject, but zestuff do high quality apparel. I'm not sure how they operate, but it's something to look into.
