Need a small mp3 player

edited April 2006 in Everything Else
I am looking for a minor mp3 player.

Something like, 50 bucks or less, possibly with included FM tuner or cassette interface. SD expansion would be nice: why pay for even more flash memory when I already have plenty?

Not looking for huge, just something I can put Geeknights and stuff on for my car.

Any suggestions?

  • Everything on this list is priced between 40 and 60 US Dollars, has SD Memory, and an FM tuner. The SanDisk one seems best, they're a good company from what I've seen.
  • SANdisk claims they are currently #2 in mp3 players. They also claim they are going to catch up and beat the ipod.

Those two companies make the cheap, small DMPs.

  • Don't forget about MP3-CDs, you can just load 700 megs of MP3s onto a CD and it plays it great.
  • Only if mp3 cd players didn't skip and didn't take so much battery to do things like randomize, they are great.
  • Who needs a CD player anymore, seriously. Everbody who's cool owns some sort of mp3 playing device. I personally own a dell jukebox (piece a shit), and it works alright. I think I need to update the firmware on it.
