  • Do you think it could be a lack of quotes about the image source?

That's not the complete url also. You also need the beginning of the address.

  • This season seems to be even more plagued with really bad injuries. Whenever I see that NFL commercial with everyone doing the Julio Jones dance, I cringe because he won't be doing that dance anytime soon.

Also two coaches also currently out due to illness. Yeesh.
  • I've wondered about that. It sure seems to me like the Pack has suffered a ton of injuries this year, but it seems like that every year. I'm sure some of it is just that I watch ever Packers game, and getting beat up is a fact of life in the NFL season. There have to be some metrics about number of weeks missed per team per year though, but I haven't seen any. Would be curious to know if this year really is abnormal or just I'm noticing more.
  • League wide, it's abnormal. For the Packers? A little above average. Remember, we won the Super Bowl the year we lost *16* players to IR.
  • A big THANK YOU to the Carolina Panthers, but no thanks to the Cowboys. Also, thank goodness we finally had a solid win after the last few dumb ones.

Home field playoff advantage is looking better and better.

    NEVER FORGET.

Yesterday was pretty interesting. Also I can't believe the Broncos let that one go. I was 51/49 Broncos.

I'm ok with that loss because now the Seahawks have the best record and I am so pumped for Monday Night Football next week when we host the Saints.

Also Cowboys defense is so sad.

  • And we still lost.
  • It'd be nice if the Dolphins didn't blow it. Came extremely close to beating a good team and taking sole possession of the last playoff spot. Instead, they created the 6-team 5-6 army, ensuring that some AFC team with a shitty record is bound to sneak into the playoffs this year. My bets are on the Steelers, cause holy shit that schedule is cake.
  • Domination. Absolute domination. Best Monday Night Football Game.

Ha! Playoff hopes still alive! The Romo show put on a epic performance today.

Finally Matt Flynn making all that money both Seattle & Green Bay have given him. I didn't watch the game, but I heard about it. I'm happy the Cowboys didn't win. There has been so much speculation of Rodgers getting back in time for the playoffs. That would be a fun situation.

Also happy that the Saints and Patriots lost today. Too bad the 49ers didn't. One more win and Seahawks will clinch home field advantage in the playoffs. It's will be so much fun to watch.

I feel bad for Arizona because I feel they should at least make the playoffs, but it seems highly unlikely. They have better record of 9-5 compared to other teams that are currently in the wildcard round and probably won't make it unless the 49ers lose against Atlanta at home and lose to the Cardinals in Arizona.

Overall the NFC West seems to be the most solid division this year. Also I <3 Russell Wilson.

  • I think we're paying pretty much nothing for him... He got cut by 3 teams?
  • Ah. Well at least he's finally earning all that damn money we gave him last year for warming the bench. Seriously.
  • NFC North? Don't mind if we do!

Nice comeback. Best of luck against the 49ers. I honestly hope the Packers beat the ever living snot out of them. Please sack Kaepernick 5+ times. Their defense will be tough.

Also: HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE WITH THE #1 SEED! GO HAWKS!

    BREAKDANCE!

  • Eagles must die in first round. I'm sure the Saints will get it done. First round will be during MAGFest, as usual.

Umm..not really. New Orleans on the road in cold weather? Dunno.

Also, I love our defense. I love watching them. Also our special teams. Lockette. DAMN, SON.

So far this year the Texans, Browns, Redskins, and Vikings have fired their coach. I wonder who else is on the chopping block. Possibly Buccaneers.

And now Schiano of the Buccaneers. That whole crap with Freeman earlier in the year was a bit messed up.

  • Imagine football as a CCG where each player is a card. Each card is unique and changes over time. The coach is the player. If you own a team and want to win, but currently suck, not much you can do but change the coach.
  • Updated previous post to add Schiano of Buccaneers. Now rumor has it that Jim Schwartz of the Lions has been sacked.

    Wow.

    Much sack.
  • Fucking Dolphins. Thankfully my time as a Mets fan has hardened me to such bitter disappointment.
  • Hmmm.....

A digital CCG where every single card is unique....

    Hmmmmmm.......

It already exists. It's called fantasy football.

Someone should make a site which reads data from fantasy football and converts it into a high fantasy setting for the nerds who "hate" sports. It's the exact same system underneath but with different flavor text.

  • Definitely had that conversation from the other end, of dudes being like "this can't be nerdy, it's football!" and I'm like "bro you're playing a pretend game with numbers, you're practically an elf wizard."
  • Does fantasy Football really include D6 rolling though?
