MLK

edited April 2008 in Politics
Remember April 4, 1968? Of course you don't. You weren't alive, they don't teach dates anymore in school, and it doesn't have an immediate, present-day effect on your ability to buy pokemons. Today is the 40th anniversary of the day MLK was assassinated.

Did you ever wonder what MLK did between '63 and '68? I mean, when you see the obligatory stories in January, they always run "I Have a Dream", and then they skip to Memphis. Here is a good article on the things he said and the things he was working on before Memphis, stuff I really, really like. I wonder why they never show that stuff? DO you have any ideas?

  • I remember hearing on Off the Hook the other day that the FBI wiretapped him to try to find connections to communists, and they released it recently, and he had no other agenda that could be found.
