    Only a month? Either way, read the forum rules and hints. Here's more stuff you should read.

    As for the topic, I cannot see your desktop with all those windows open. :p It's only been a month (exactly) since I changed my desktop, so it's still the same as my latest desktop update in the other thread.

    Holy crap, how big is that screen? Sometimes it sucks to just have 17 inches.
    My desktop hasn't really changed much either. You could change the thread title to "Desktop Screenshots: Winter '08".

    I just changed the screenshot to my actual desktop, without the windows in the way :)
    I also changed the title.

    My screens 24" at 1920x1200 ;)
    The drawback is that my 7600GT has a hard time handling intense graphics on it.

    Anyhow, hope the thread continues and hope no one minds :)

    Also, where? You have certainly mastered hiding things in plain sight.

    Found it! Start at the top right corner of the recycle bin and go right. It looks like a monitor with a yellow background.

    Oh, that's from my friend who likes to send me the same 350 bit file renamed. You'll also find two other files as far as I know, but there might be more.

    Neat, darn, what's that program called again. I've seen that in action, but did they release an exe? Monthy Python and the Holy Grail.avi, Cowboy.Bebop.01._Dual_audio.mkv. I lol'd at "Gang Garrison 2", but what the fuck, "cyber12.com__code_g[eass?]...mp4, and the /b/ poetry motivational poster. I don't know what's worse, seeing it there, or actually being able to recall the thing almost completely:

    The program I'm using is called bumptop. I think it's still in private beta, but from what I've heard they're giving out activation keys to more people. It took me a while to get mine though, about 2 months. It was featured in TEDtalks, and it does nothing for my productivity but it sure is fun to play with.

    Have you seen Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? A spoiler: Yoko kissed Kamina. Yoko kissed Kittan. Both died shortly after that kiss.

    I decided that with all of this Windows 7 business and your screenshots, I would make my desktop pretty and share it. So, yeah, it isn't done yet, but here you go. FYI, everything auto-hides, so I can use my full 19" monitor for viewing.

    If anyone can help me, I'd like to totally get rid of the taskbar/start button. I have a program to do this, but when I do, I don't have an easy way to manage open windows, and alt-tabbing for everything seems like a difficult habit to get into. Does anyone maybe know a widget or a program that would display my open windows in RocketDock or on my desktop somewhere? Also, I could take alternative solutions for managing my open windows.

    Avant-window-manager on windows would do the job, but you're on windows :( A mac would also do it (duh). Not sure for windows though. Your desktop looks pretty sweet though, none of the crappy window-ness.
