Quick Problem with Windows XP SP3

edited August 2009 in Technology
So, I'm not sure how I managed to do this, but I've somehow changed the default action for folders in Windows to search. That is, whenever I click on a folder, it opens up a search window instead of showing me the contents of the folder. Does anyone know how I can change the default action from "find" to "open/explore?"

I don't usually use Windows, so I have some minor difficulty with finding my way around.

  • This be a Google question Pangloss. Anyways, if I remember correctly, open up Explorer, go to Extra>Map options, then there's a tab called Extensions or so, it's the center of 3 tabs if I remember properly. Look through the list for folders and use one of the buttons to bring up and change the default action for folders.

    TL;DR Google.
