Sudoku is probably my favorite physical puzzle game. I enjoy Picross a bit too, but I feel like it's more fun depending on the medium you play it on. Like, if it can tell you when you are wrong, when you are wrong, the daunting task of erasing all your mistakes kills the mood.
Tetris Worlds is also on the GBA. If you've got the right piracy card you're all set. I still have a GBA SP. Hmm..

Also another Tetris version I enjoyed was the N64 release of Tetrisphere. Hey Virtual Console, get on that!
Oh shit, I forgot Tetrisphere. That was a fun-ass game. I feel like youtube exploring...

  • Tetris (definitely one of the best games ever; I've scored high enough to get the UFO ending in the NES version), Yoshi's Cookie, Dr. Mario, Bubble Bobble, Bust-a-Move, Lumines, Meteos, and the Layton games kick ass.

However, if you haven't played through Mendel Palace on the NES, you haven't lived.
