  • Why not accept that nothing at all is certain or "foundational", and simply let everything come down to pragmatism?
Because then we can't wank on the Internet about this sort of thing. ;^)
Well, I can still wank about Bayesian Epistemology instead.
  • I don't think you are going to post any hats I would ever wear.

What about the post I made about the flat caps on the first page? :(

Yeah, that would only work if I also bought all new clothes to go with it.

How so? You can totally pull off your current wardrobe of tshirts with a flat cap.

Man it sucks that the greatest movies ever were all created before 1950.. Why do people bother to make new films :-p

    There are many reasons.
I'll take a stab in the dark as to the real reason no movie from after 1950 made it into that list: the list was made in 1958.

As Rym told you in this very episode, Scott, read all the words on the page!

Incorrect. He would also need a Cane and a Whippet.

  • This thread is as good a place as any to brag about my early idea for a cheap and easy Halloween costume.

All I need are bunny ears and a red party hat.
  • I do not bend the rim of my baseball cap because it does a better job of keeping the sun out of my eyes that way. Y'know, what a baseball cap is meant to do. I don't know if my head is exceptionally big or my eyes are exceptionally far apart, but I find that most caps with a bent rim do not keep the sun out of my eyes. I do take the stickers off though.
  • I'd you're looking for a fashion and warmth hat for a big headed guy, Irish scally caps can be a good choice.
  • Winter hats are easy, just a wool hat. The hard part is hats for when it is not cold at all.
  • You can get thin scally caps, as well. They're a versatile cap.

    Attention fail. :(
  • Scott, have even tried on a flat cap? Do you really think you need to wear a different wardrobe with it?
  • Regarding network neutrality, someone really should clone this awesome network neutrality hack that some in the EU have been using: http://respectmynet.eu/

Something like that would be very useful in complaining to the FCC
