So I bought "Little Brother" a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out why the name of the author, Cory Doctorow was so familiar to me. I did a bit of research and assumed I had heard of him as the writer of "I, Robot." Today I realized he is co-editor of BoingBoing. Share your realizations with the world.

    All of my favorite musicians who are big enough for me to look up details like where they went to college didn't go to college. Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, none of them. This is also true for most of my heroes in general (Eugene Debs, Andrew Jackson, Hunter S Thompson, et al), but not all of them.

    I'm not daft enough to use this as logic to not go, but it would've been nice to be able to use their choices to build off of.
