So it is good in the sense that it will still carry current to your devices, but bad in the sense that it is "very old and degraded." I think the latter bears some more thought as to what the impact/consequences are.
It is so fucking illegal to do new residential construction in most every civilized places with knob and tube. It's not just dangerous because most of it is old: it's fundamentally a bad system for modern electrical wiring.
First I laughed at those Ice Challenge Fails, but then I realized how heavy water is and how big some of those containers were and it wasn't so funny anymore.
