Episode 13 - Tracing a Path

Episode 13 of Revolutionary Girl Utena is a liminal episode. On one hand, it provides a denouement to the Student Council Saga (season 1), nominally explaining what happened and, to a degree, why. On the other, it raises far more disturbing questions about the true aim of these duels, setting the stage for the Black Rose Saga (season 2). Who is this man (Akio), what is his relation to Anthy or End of the World, and why is he trying to (re)awaken the Power of Dios?

    I think the thing about these presents features is that once we get to the end of Black Rose Saga they will become shorter as the show starts tying up loose threads and not really presenting any majorly new content.

    Ever going to do the movie? **sarcasm**
