    1) This is incredibly sad. I hold a terrible respect for those who bring us the news (HST), and Cronkite is like their Odin.
    2) By any chance were his last words "And that's the way it is, November 4, 1916 to July 17, 2009. This is Walter Cronkite, CBS News; good night"?

    I know that you're making a joke, but it would have been incredibly touching if they were. I almost teared up at the thought :(
