  • I think the show that Scott is remembering around the 26 minute point is "100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd".
  • To put two nerdy references together:

That's not it. There was definitely some magical genie action and also lots of pirates/boating in the one I remember.

  • Yeah, so sadly the King's Gambit article is just more Ruined Internet Day bullshit.

Hooooo! Good job on them! Actually writing something on fake Internet day that actually fools people! Why did it fool people? Because they kept it up after fake Internet day.

Whoever wrote that article wins the Internet. They even fooled Wikipedia for a time.

  • Happily, the King's Gambit is already pretty discredited as a strategy, and someday we will have real proof one way or the other.

Just a matter of processing power. ;^)

    For realsies. :D

True story: Jeremy sometimes wishes I wasn't into board games or was bad at them so he'd be able to win and brag about it. I tell him, you should be happy you have a girlfriend who loves board games and can hold her own.

Man needs perspective. It's ok. I'll give it to him with my constant beating him. That's the best way.
