  • Since I am on my phone I can not tell what time the clock is. If I could I could compare it with the other clocks to get an idea of where it could be held at.

Or its just a late April Fools joke.
  • Now the big question, third PAX in the Americas or a new one for Europe?
  • PAXlanta
  • Please be YURP. Please be YURP.
  • Oh. Snap. I was considering going to Prime instead of East in the future, since multi-PAXing is getting less and less likely for me. I will have to consider going to new-PAX if it is in a good spot.

Well the analog clock is set to US Central Time, so I would say Chicago (ReedPOP already has experience running C2E2 there). Few other contenders possible, though I'd say very much an outside chance.

    Austin is Central time.
  • I stand corrected. That's a legit contender.

I would rather go to Austin than Chicago. Chicago is all murdery, while Austin is the only cool city worth going to in Texas.

If it's in US: PAX Central.

    If it's in Texas: PAXas.

  • By the clock it is hitting the central time zone therefore I am leaning Chicago. But a dark horse contender will be Pax Mex(ico).
  • I learned my lesson last time about trying to predict where new PAXes will spring up.

Cities with convention centers that could hold a PAX:
    Chicago
    New Orleans
    Detroit
    Celeveland
    Indianapolis
    Dallas
    Houstin
    Columbus
    Austin

PAX Indy would be funny, as we'd get a straight up comparison of PAX vs Gen Con.

    Uh, you are missing ATL.

  • The net whispered in my ear... Canada.
  • I was limiting it to central time zone (read the rest of the thread), unless the clock in Khoo's pic was misinformation.

Can you think of a major city located in central Canada?

Winnipeg. Completing a $200M convention center expansion in 2015....

  • What if it's actually 12 hours away from Central? PAX Bangkok!
  • What if the clock is just at the time it happens to be, and wasn't set?

    Random PAX!

The fourth PAX is roving. new location every year.

I think it's doubtful. I don't think Khoo is not disorganized to have the clock all random.

The red timer isn't even set yet.

Surprise, PAX4 is happening right now!

Because it's still a secret to everyone (that's not in the inner PAX/Khoo circle).
  • This is another grand step in creating a new culture of nomads, traveling from PAX to PAX 24/7/365, with enough conventions to support their strange-but-wonderful-ways.

Baltimore is way more murdery than Chicago. ;^)

  • My guesses in order:

    1. Toronto
    2. Chicago
    3. Austin (or some similar Texas city)
    4. London
