Okay, this one's funny - Australian Uber Driver refuses to take passenger with a guide dog(Which, in Australia, is illegal), later discovers that passenger is Graeme Innes, Former Disability Discrimination Commissioner for the Australian Human Rights Commission.

Less funny is the part where he had to lodge two formal complaints with the Australian Human Rights Commission before Uber would do jack shit.

Both Uber and Lyft are leaving Austin due to driver background check regulation.

I was wondering why a few less reputable sites suddenly decided to publish giant puff pieces about terrified bartenders, concerned citizens, and down on their luck folk in Austin after Uber was "Forced out" by...having to have non-garbage background checks.
