I subscribed to Nintendo Power from the very first issue right up until the end of the SNES era. Somewhere among mine and my brother's scattered belongings is a box full of them all, including -two- copies of the original Final Fantasy player's guide.

I got the first few issues (wasn't there a Zelda guide in the early ones) but I never subscribed. I think you used to be able to get a few free ones with your NES...

I subscribe now only for the Pokemon content.
