Here's my listal. Who here is going to use Listal with me?
Are you wondering when you're going to hear all the talk about the New York Comic-Con and the Penny Arcade CCG? You'll just have to wait and see later this week.
Contents so far: My modest collection of roleplaying game books, many of my university textbooks, a small pile of crappy fiction I haven't looked at in years, and Rome Total War.
Update: My totally ghey collection of Sims 2 hint guides have been added. Have pity on my tormented soul.
I'd love to see a concept like listal paired with modern technologies. The idea that strikes me first are pairing it with something like google goggles for data entry. Being able to just take a picture of the cover of a book and having all the isbn information added automatically would be fantastic.

Write it yourself. All you have to do is paste these two things together.
update: the most owned book on the site (Harry Potter book 6) is only owned by 1146 users. I'm reading that as "this service has very few people on it."

Probably, but the site is still running. I still use it. And you can export your data from it. Every time I enter some books, I make a backup just in case it dies before I come back to it. It hasn't died yet.
I don't keep enough physical objects to bother making a list of them all. But I do keep track of all the books I read using Goodreads.com which is a really useful social network. As it is so focused (only share what you are reading or want to read) you can be friends with any number of people and don't need to put up with other rubbish.

I don't have much in there, just a few manga, but I should add to it soon.
I'll also point out it's a bit weak accepting stuff published in Australia
Appears I set up a account a long time ago.. not sure why ^_^
