Ubuntu Live CD

When I load up the Ubuntu Live CD it eventually ends up at a blue screen with a gray box that says "failed to start x server" then I chose to "view diagnostics" and it said "Fatal server error: no screens found". I have a nVIDIA Geforce FX 5500. A little help here please.

    Are you using the latest version? Because when I used the CD I got from some place it did the exact same thing. By the way, my ubuntu is all set up now, as of 2 minutes ago! I'm excited, I feel like I have achieved something.
