There is only one issue I find troublesome with this application of munitions. Despite the magazine being the weapon itself, I feel as though ammunition constraints would be an issue. I probably, like others, receive this impression because of the footage of 'one million rounds a minute.' While such a high rate of fire would be devastating, it would never be practical; in other words, the entire magazine would never be exhausted in one fire. Regardless, this weapon platform will be ideal for years to come, until laser guns of course.
The video did not feel like a Cyberdyne infomercial at all.
As a side, I'm sure everyone knows where the Heat Ray originated from, correct? If not then shame on you for not knowing, because almost every geek I know, knows this tidbit and you should too. The first one who posts where the Heat Ray originated from will get a gold star.
Now the kids really will get off your lawn, huh, Joe?
You know it. I'll be able to fill in my tiger trap.

You're talking about War of the Worlds, aren't you?
