I never got the DS, instead I got a video iPod, which I've enjoyed more anything so far. I'm glad I didn't get a nano. The screens puny for video, if you're wanting to put ipod linux on it. But I'm happy with the ipod, and I still get some touchpad gaming action on it (parachute). I'm trying to find tetris for it.
I'll get a DS Light later. I need a "good" mp3/video player anyway for podcasts and music. Before I was using a Dell Jukebox, and it was sluggish as hell anyway. At least my ipods not refurbished with knicks all over it (Jukebox).
