    That's one pathetic hero.

A google news search finds no references to any of these people. Apparently your heroes are made up.

Besides... there is enough in this article to know that it wasn't written by a serious journalist.

A great work of fiction.... but fortunately my world is reality.

I know it's not real. That's not the point.

Ahh... but that is my point. ;-)

Sooooo you can't admire a fictional character or event when you are aware that the event or the person is fictional? Hmmm....
  • Now, I don't remember if this ever came up in the forum, but what is the legality of Jury Nullification? Is it still a right of juries, or has some law somewhere removed this abilit from the jury's options?
  • We always, always move for a JNOV and a new trial if a case doesn't end with a good result. That would take care of civil jury nullification. This remedy might not be available in every state, but even if it were available, it wouldn't disturb a jury finding of "not guilty" in a criminal case.
