...Now that someone has hacked it.

    That's one of the principles behind trainers. You take a number that is displayed (in this case gold) then find all values with that value then change it and find the one that changed to the new value. Then all you have to do is change the value to whatever you want.
    Sucks though, its just going to be "999999999"s all over the top scores. There's no pride any more.
