Safari for Windows.

What do you guys make of this.

  • I make of it this: A bad browser is a bad browser, even if I normally support Apple. I can't stand the way Safari works.
  • It makes sense for a big release at a developer confrence, because developers are going to be the ones to get the most use out of this software. Safari is going to try to take out IE, but it's also there as a development platform for the iPhone, since the third party apps for it are going to run as Ajax applications in Safari.
  • Also, web developers that use Windows might be more likely to test their sites in Safari. Thus, it will be easier to use a Mac because fewer websites will be incompatible with Safari.
  • Good points. Nonetheless, I think it was bound to happen eventually.
  • I'll stick with Firefox.
