Deus Ex Machina

One of things that irks me and ruins more series than bad voice acting/general acting is having a deus ex machina at the end of it. It shows that the author had nothing better to do than end the story in a forced way, no struggle is met to over come the goal, it just happens. I can't possibly say how much this pisses me off.

    Two worst ones I can think of:
    Everything's a dream!
    Everything is actually a story that someone in the movie/show wrote!

    Donnie Darko, that one has a Deus Ex Machina, and in my opinion is actually well executed.

    I just saw Masked Rider Kabuto: God Speed Love, and I have to say that their Deus Ex Machina can be seen as either way depending if you saw the TV series or not.

    Well, Donnie Darko is a good movie without the DeM, but I like to see characters struggling to meet their goal.

    I mean, a DeM pisses me as much as when they revive characters.
