The (non-binding) Net Authority Internet Acceptable Use Policy

The Net Authority website

Posting information or content in any form on the Internet constitutes acceptance of and agreement to the Net Authority Internet Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Thou shalt not post pornographic material.

There is a common misconception that pornography is limited purely to images or textual descriptions of an explicit sexual nature. This is not the case. Anything that can evoke impure thoughts in the mind of the beholder is pornographic.
2. Thou shalt not post hateful material.

Any material that promotes or inspires hatred or violence towards any other person or group of people is strictly forbidden.
3. Thou shalt not post blasphemous material.

Any material that would lead one astray from the righteous path of the one true God must not be permitted on the Internet. These days children are gaining access to the Internet at younger and younger ages—a time when they are most vulnerable and susceptible to blasphemous viewpoints and suggestions.
4. Thou shalt not post materials of an offensive political nature.
5. Thou shalt not post materials concerning bestiality, including interracial relationships.

God did not intend for different species or races to intermingle sexually. Any content that contradicts this natural law, directly or indirectly, is strictly forbidden.

If you search their database, you'll find that, among the expected 4chan, 7chan, etc, is GOOGLE.

  • Well, that makes sense, as my little brother got in trouble when he was looking for a picture of Hillary Clinton for a project, some kind of pornographic picture was in the Google Images search because they didn't have the search filter on.

Was he doing it at school or at home? Either way it is the responsibility of your brother's teachers or parents to have safe search on. It is really to turn on or off. He may have turned it off, then it is his own fault.
  • No, as far as I know, it wasn't on, and he was at school. He also refuses to learn much anything about computers, he yells at me when i try to teach him, so trying to show him how to turn the filter on would be nigh impossible. He's an idiot.
  • Is this some kind of joke?

Is this some kind of joke?
As I go through it, I'm starting to think so more and more.
But, Poe's Law comes into play. "Without the use of a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to make a parody of fundamentalism that someone won't mistake for the real thing."
