Top 20? That's an awful lot. I never owned 20 NES games. In fact,I'm pretty sure I've never even played 20 original NES games, although I do have quite a few ROMS. Still, I can list my favorites:

I am extremely glad that I took Rym's recommendation on that one. Bionic Commando is very unique, and I can't find any reason someone wouldn't like it besides because of it's learning curve.

I really don't get why people like Bionic Commando that much
It took a unique idea and, for the time, executed it wonderfully.  The game was very ambitious for its time, and stands up relatively well even today.  It cries desperately for a remake.

You know they would never remake it unless they incorporate a jump feature. People would just reject it now as being too inaccessible. However, seeing BC in brilliant third person perspective and a God of War-type fighting setup would be amazing.

Skip Zelda one and go try Adventures of Link...it's the best of the whole series...in my opinion.
