ugh laptop again

Alright, I'm just gonna ask you guys, what laptop between 4-7 lbs that has good battery life and good specs for a decent price would you recommend? I am now looking into the Dell XPS M1210 because it works fine with Ubuntu, is small and lightweight and has good battery life especially for its size. The reviews for it seem to be nothing, but great.

    If you are looking for a Dell, and you want Ubuntu, buy one that has Ubuntu pre-installed.

    You can't buy an Ubuntu laptop from Dell in Canada. I decided on a Macbook anyways, the hardware is nice and I have yet to use OS X. I can always run Ubuntu in Parallels or with Bootcamp.
