I guess my new server ain't so tough
One of my "friends" submitted some of my content to digg today (from one of my new blogs) and it hit the home page about twenty minutes ago. Since he warned me ahead of time (5 minutes ahead of time) I was able to log in and run top before everything hit.
My god! I got hit with a 60+ on server load! I'm still floating about 10 and it hit half an hour ago.
Yes, it killed all my sites though the server has not crashed, it's just real slow...
Some friend eh? I only had about four posts on this new blog (moving old content over and then redirecting via .htaccess)... grumble, grumble, grumble...
