Did South Park really censor Mohammed?

I really think that the South Park guys censored it themselves as a joke. I could be wrong.

    A Comedy Central executive did confirm it. Unless it's a wide-scale prank involving the network's management, it's true.

    The whole censoring thing, while very offensive to me, is so ironic as to make it somewhat funny. Of course, the episode was allowed to include Jesus shitting on George Bush...beautiful irony, perhaps? Maybe even multi-dimensional beautiful irony?
