Graham Norton

edited July 2007 in Everything Else
As an American, I have only seen Graham Norton on television a few times, until they recently brought his show to the States. I have to say that I am addicted to the Graham Norton Show. For anyone who hasn't seen his "chat" show, his witty, off-color, and cuttingly insightful humor makes this talk show not only watchable, but enjoyable! I usually hate these kinds of shows, but I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a laugh (it is probably available on line, but it is played on BBC America and BBC America on demand). If nothing else, check out the portion of his website that has snippets of conversations overheard in daily life. It is "If it weren't for that horse..." hilarity (if you don't get this reference, watch more Lewis Black).

  • Is this the older channel 4(uk) show or the newer BBC "toned down" one?
  • They are new episodes, it is the only one they are showing in the USA at the moment (as I can tell). I know a raunchier version of his show used to be on Comedy Central, but they took it off shortly after putting it on.
  • Ahh... I don't think much of the new BBC stuff. It's really tame.
  • I've seen several of Graham Norton's talk shows. The first time I've watched him was on the LOGO Network while I was back home in Brooklyn. Most recently I've watched him on BBC America. The shows are a couple of months old, those shown this month were aired in the U.K. in March. I think he's hilarious.
