Replacing RAM

edited July 2007 in Technology
Hey, I found out that one of my RAM modules on my laptop has busted. When I look for a replacement all I have to do is make sure I have the right DRAM package, pin number and that it is DDR2 right? My previous ram was a 1 Gig 200 pin PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM 533mhz. This should work as a replacement right?

EDIT: Where is the whisper discussion field in the edit discussion page? This is supposed to be just for Scott... -_-

You can start a discussion whispered but not edit it as such. That's something that needs to be fixed too.
