I don't know if this is something that everyone else has heard of and I'm late to the party (probably), but I just learned about Ninite, and if you haven't heard of it and you use Windows, you should definitely keep it in mind. Basically, you check off your favorite applications (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Steam, Skype, Digsby, iTunes, Picasa, Flash, Java, etc.) and download the installer, hit the "go" button, and it installs the latest version of each program you selected automatically, all while denying all toolbars and other crapware.
I don't know about you, but I have a lot of programs that I like to run at startup. Consequently, every time I reboot, it's a long time before my computer is actually usable -- but whattayagonnado, I like to have that shit ready when I want it. I decided to investigate whether there was anything I could do about this, and I found this program: Start-Q -- it basically gives you pretty fine control over your startup programs, including the ability to queue them up and delay them a given amount of time, individually, so they don't all try to start up at once, and your computer is actually usable within a few seconds of the desktop coming up. So awesome. EDIT: Windows, of course.
Last nights "B-Grade Film Event" was a great success. The highlight of which was a viewing of "Attack the Gas Station 2". Bulldozer did not make an appearance in the second film, but there was enough to keep us amused. Cinema gold!
New OK Go video. No duck this time. Still one continuous shot. It's no "This Too Shall Pass" or "End Love", but it's amazing that they were able to work with the animals the way they did.
So, You're Terry Pratchett. You're a famous fantasy writer, beloved by millions, You've a knighthood burning a hole in your pocket, and an iron deposit near your house, including some Meteorite iron. What do you do?

I found another Thing of the Day: The Adventures of Little Batman.
Still: I lol'd quite hard. This was the only reference I didn't get. Someone enlighten me.
EDIT: Also, thanks for the sideways-reminder that Gunshow exists! I forgot to finish the Anime Club saga!
Edit: Should pay more attention, my bad.
EDIT: Windows, of course.
Once is often enough, in this case it was too often.
*goes for a burger*
I can't believe you actually saw that movie. I've been trying to trick some friends into watching it with me for nigh-on 3 years now.
Ben loses 120 pounds in 18 months by running. Very inspiring.

You make yourself a Goddamn Sword to go with that knighthood.
Too bad about the Alzehimer's.
Sorry I couldn't find the images directly both videos have the image for your enjoyment.
