Briefly: today was the glad occasion of the NY state gubernatorial debates hosted at Hofstra University. I don't want to get too political, so I'll just cut to the chase--Next president of the United States is Jimmy McMillan. Popular quotes at this stage include: Marry a Shoe!!!

I'd like to see this guy go viral.
I'm having a hard time telling if this guy is for real or not, but I have to admit, it's pretty entertaining. A nice break from the usual political crap we see.
It's not enough to get my vote, but I do appreciate the effort.

That was worth it for the line, "As a karate expert..." whereupon he goes into a tangent having NOTHING to do with karate.
I saw photos of the candidates, and without really knowing anything about any of them but Cuomo and Paladino, and only hearing the party names, I KNEW that guy belonged to that party.
The fact that this is an image on his official website is epic.
I saw that earlier today and geeked out on it. Ghost Rider, Spidey, Cap, and Moon Knight all seemed to work well, but the rest just left me with a "meh" feeling.
To anyone interested, check the newest interview Terry Gross did for Fresh Air. She talked to the Lee Unkrich and Michael Arndt, the Director and Screenwriter (respectively) for Toy Story 3. It's great stuff, the people at Pixar have the best stories and interpretations.

It is at the Anime Store on 30th. I tell you what, I am way too lazy to go over there to rent stuff that is already on Netflix. Kudos to media blasters for trying something, but I really don't think this will appeal to anyone who doesn't frequently hang out in an anime store. Of course, if you put these in all the anime stores that the punk kids hang out in, this may work.
I can proudly say I never used any of those P2P clients (Frostwire, Limewire, KLite, Kazaa, WinMX, Napster, etc.). I was an early adopter of BT and a proponent of WASTE, which seems to have sadly died.

The sign above it says "Now that the Chilean mine is empty, who should be sent down into it?"
We've put some of our favorite people up there so far.

Jim Carrey will always be able to make me laugh.

My friend Akino Kondo got selected on the short list for the YouTube film festival at the Guggenheim Museum!

I am embarrassed.
Besides, someone has to complain about these kinds of things in Nine's stead ^_~
