Well, it's true that BSG is heavily influenced by Mormon mythology. The creator of the original was a Mormon. However, the new series only retails a bit of those themes, and it still doesn't make it any less awesome.
The ending of the new series was rather disappointing to me, and I think it had a lot to do with the religious themes.
Actually I rather liked how Head Baltar hinted at the fact that the Cylon and human gods weren't really gods at all but something else. I was pleased with how the series ended.
This video is very cool. Nothing much is happening for a while, but then the Sprint Hero comes out and things start to pick up. Then the Motorola Droid is released on Nov 06 2009 and the US just explodes.
Edit - also, After revealing the Anonymous threat against WBC to be a likely hoax, the closest thing to an Anonymous representative and Shirley from the WBC end up in a debate interview on the David Packman show. After about eight minutes of insults, accusations, and preaching from Shirley - including the statement that Anon can't do anything to harm their websites - with occasional statements from the Anon Representative, Anon decides they've had enough, and while the interview is live, anon hacks and defaces the WBC website. News article and A screenshot.
I suspect that the whole WBC thing is just different bunches of people who do in fact self-identify as Anonymous members. It's rather doubtful the WBC did it just to attract attention, as some have suggested. Some Anons announced an attack on the WBC, but then others realised that it was a bad idea (using illegal means to limit legal free speech), so they promptly denied it.

Brokeback Strangers.
This one is funny too. Funnier I think.
