  • Unashamedly stolen from the frontpage of reddit, but seriously, David Letterman has stopped giving a good goddamn, and is actually fresher and funnier than he's been in years.

  • Eh, he's retiring. Why not go out with a bang?
  • Hell, I'm not complaining, it's great!
  • Not sure if fake...

  • Not nessissarily fake, but I'm also seeing a few red flags. Something to keep an eye on, at least.

  • It's pretty good, I think.
  • DUN DUN DUN

Maybe not TOTD material but some noteworthy news.

  • The ending is great.

Saw this the other day, at 3:09 you can see his friend opening his chute below him. Wjich to me seems way too damn low to the ground.

I know what I'm doing with a parachute(I'm not fantastic, but I'm average), but I tell you what, I wouldn't have the balls to do this, even at night. BASE is dangerous enough on it's own, but BASE in a big city like that, with unpredictable crosswinds, updrafts, and the like? Dude I'd be splattered like a bug on a windshield. I'm not that good, nowhere fucking near.

There is actually a video from the bloke who opened real low - He looks WAY low from the first video I posted, and to be honest, he is, but not as low as it looks in the first video, he's still about 15 stories up, give or take five, judging by his own camera. Still, that's not a huge amount of room, especially when you're flying in a city street - he has enough room to pull round toward the tower again, then bears right, and lands in the street you can see directly below them when they're still at the top of the tower. And he does a flip off the top, just for extra style.

  • Episode 1 of Tabletop Deathmatch is up: http://tabletopdeathmatch.com/

A reality competition for creating Tabletop games, from the Cards Against Humanity folks. The same company who made Strip Search is involved (and from the loose production quality that's obvious). Still, I'm going to be watching and will find someone to root for. Looking forward to witnessing the forthcoming eviscerations.

Some friends of mine are contestants! You might recognize them from Burning Con.

The loose production quality is because most of it was recorded at Gen Con without much warning to anyone involved.
  • Now that you mention it, I do recognize some folks. Can't wait to see what's presented.

Just watched the first episode. Of course Luke had to be the first judge to be contrarian. And with gusto!
  • Fyi - this little video will show you contestants for TTD. As far as I can tell it's not actually on their website:
  • An oldie but a goodie. Karaoke with Namasensei.
  • 402ppm!! We did it everyone!! Woo hoo!
  • Guess I need a knew thing...um, Stephen Colbert is replacing David Letterman?

Only to be replaced in six weeks by Jay Leno.
