  • Free speech is the win. Just don't "shout fire in a crowded theatre", make illegal threats, or otherwise use speech that in itself causes harm, like libel or slander. As a Columbia University student said on his sign, "Free Speech, even for douche bags".
  • I won't deny their right to do it, but things like this fall into the category of things that "I support your right to do it, but really wish you wouldn't".
  • Free Speech does not include a soap box to stand on. A lot of the fringe folks seem to forget that.
  • In this episode you mentioned that pnp (plug and play) leaves one wide open to worms. When I start up my computer it mentions plug and play. I'm guessing this means it's enabled. How do I disable it?

No, that is something different. Plug and Play on your computer is good. It means you can plug in a piece of hardware like a USB drive, and your computer will automatically be able to get it working.

What we are talking about is uPNP which is something that allows devices on your network to open up your router. You should turn UPnP off on your router unless you know better.

My Spybot constantly finds worms so I guess I have Upnp. How do I get rid of that? Anyways, my comments about the show. I took a look at Rym's thing of the day and got started on the "Don't Tase Me Bro" craze. The video Rym mentioned was good, but this one is amazing.
