FTP don't know how to get started

I've looked everywhere to figure out how to use the FTP client FIlezilla however I can't find out how to use it.

    Well, what's the problem you're having? A little more detail would help. Can you not connect? Are you having trouble with the interface?

    Have you read the help file?

    I've downloaded the Filezilla client and and cyberduck on the OSX but I have zero idea about what to do, what is the server? Do I need to find one? Can I make one? I have no idea.

    Filezilla is an FTP client. You use it to connect to an FTP server.
    The server information is the FTP server you want to connect to. This is knowledge you can get from Google.
