Wii + HID

You can now use a standard USB keyboard with your Wii. I'm more excited about this than I probably should be ^_^;; Not because it makes it easier to type, but this opens the flood gates for Nintendo to allow more HID and general USB devices.

    I just tested it. One complaint. If I type a URL in the browser and then press "enter", it doesn't enter.

    Also, we have a mac mini connected to the TV. The Wii browser, even with the Wiimote, sucks compared to plain old Firefox.

    When will they allow me to plug in a USB thumb drive an use that like a hard drive? They already allow use of SD cards.

    Surprised the hell out of me too as I expected them to shaft us with some proprietary memory stick thingies.
