Granted. But del.icio.us is, basically, too open in what can be added for the purposes I had in mind. A pretty workable solution would be to simply have a sticky suggesting some standard tags to help categorize the links; I could then just look at those entries tagged as primary sources, and others could look for...whatever they want.
It seems I proposed a solution to a problem I have, rather than the one you seem to want to address. For what you're talking about, del.icio.us, possibly with aggregation, would be quite good. For my issue, it would take perhaps a bit more work, but could still be quite workable.
Seems more people need to post their del.icio.us accounts to the IDShare section of their accounts. Myself included.
