... and pray to the Linux gods.

Since Rym and Scott seem to be the Gods of Ubuntu, I have an issue I would like your help with: a problem with my wireless card. It's a Linksys, something (I'll check when I get home), but it doesn't want to see or connect to my home network. The computer I'm playing with is an older than dirt piece of shit, but the kernel does run. I know the system sees the card, and is trying to connect. and I also know the connection information is good. Can you perhaps recommend a solution? I've been playing with it for months now, and I'm getting fed up.

  • Either try using wireless assistant to search for the network or get the details and put them in manually. If that doesn't work I recommend the Ubuntu forums.
