How is Geek Nights audio produced?
Dear Rym, Scott, and anyone else who knows how to answer this question,
I've been listening to the last 100 podcasts (still have 60 to go) and I've noticed that you guys are very picky about how you process your audio and that you have an awesome audio quality with a relatively low bit rate to back up your opinions. So I was wondering how you get the awesome quality. Basically, from the time the sound waves hit the microphone to when it is compiled as a MP3 what do you do to the audio? I know you use a dynamic range compressor, rezound and audacity, but what sort of settings do you use, etc?
