Chat Rooms?

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away people use to go to chat rooms on the internet. Does any one do random chat rooms with random people or special interest chat rooms any more? It seems I can’t even find them online. What are the chances of a geek night’s chat room?

    Chat rooms were and are quite big in Germany actually. About 2 years ago nearly everyone in my school was logged in to this one chat service called knuddels.de. The way to chat was so absolutely horrible that I guess after time it just faded away.
