Did anyone note that the Court sights that he has submitted "pornographic" material to the Court? Thompson not only loves the pron, he likes showing it to Judges... this guy needs help! ^_^
Also, he acted like an asshole to the judge who was presiding over the disbarment hearing. He questioned her qualifications to hear his case, and when she passed her recommendation he reportedly called her a "raving wildwoman."

While I think JT is a complete dumbass, I've always had a problem with this court policy. Any lawyer (at least in Ohio, and apparently in Florida -- I'm not sure where else) who even criticizes a judge inside or outside the courtroom can be held in contempt and sanctioned. How is this not a violation of Amendment Number One -- you know, The Big One? Thaed and Joe and Kilarney, I'm looking at you.
There are some types of speech not protected by the First Amendment. Thompson's comments would be viewed as an obstruction of justice and not protected.
BTW, I'm writing this on my phone while I'm sitting in Probate Court waiting for the Judge and my Respondent to arrive. La-dee-dah.
That's sort of far from the point. He's a an ambulance chaser of the worst kind. He profits off of other people's misery, as evidenced by his television appearances damning video games every time a school shooting occurred. What he did to Rockstar/Take Two was bullshit, but I'd be more concerned about his profiteering off of grieving families.
PLUS HE HATES 2 LIVE CREW, AND THAT'S NOT COOL, MAN.
Anyway. It's kind of sad that we'll take the visceral victory over the legitimate one. Even if he gets disbarred, it doesn't really matter. People need to spend less time on discrediting people who hate videogames, and more time on promoting positive images. There's always going to be more naysayers, and Thompson wasn't even the worst one.

It's tough when things like Child's Play are basically ignored or even lied about (Remember when some papers grossly misreported the scale of the charity and went on to claim that the majority of the donations were made not by gamers but by some church?) or discredited by much of the mainstream media.
Videogames are this generation's rock and roll or gangsta rap. Next time around, it will be our VR glasses.

I am extremely happy about this.
