economics as a major

How is economics as a major and is the demand for economics majors any good?

    I graduated with an Econ degree two years ago, and I'm currently looking to go back to school to get a grad degree that's not Econ. But that may just be me since I liked it in school, but then didn't really want to use my degree. It's a fairly easy major (at least the BA.) I guess it depends on what you are looking to do after college, if you are trying to go into economic analysis or want to work for a Federal bank then you you probably want to go for a BS which requires a whole lot of math and whatnots.

    So I guess it really all depends on what kind of job you want after school.
