I think just calling next would be a better idea there isn't much point calling far ahead if you don't know what the preceding panel is going to look like.

Hence the "post a placeholder image" idea. I think it's especially good because if you're not reading the thread carefully, it's easy to miss someone "calling next", but if the last image you see in the thread isn't a panel, but a big box that says "dibs" or something, you know to just wait.

I edited my original post with my Dibs image for panel 9.
Is that your place holder image? Are you doing the continuing panel to Railith's place holder image for fun or did you think it was an entry? I'm confused. If these are placeholder images, can you guys add the word "place holder", your panel number and maybe even your name on it?
Wow you guys are on a roll! It kind of makes me feel like crap though since I only spent like a minute on my submission. Well once it reaches number 10, I will make up for it.
@Kage_rod: I was actually hoping someone would do an elf or a fairie!
Was there some time period for the person who's up next to submit their work >.<?</div?>

That was me -- though under the system I proposed, people wouldn't have been calling panels way ahead like they are. I figured, if someone posts a panel, and you have something good to continue with, you post your placeholder, then post your finished panel within 24 hours. If you don't, someone else gets a chance. I think it'll keep this thing flowing better. Hell, maybe less than 24 hours. Maybe 12...maybe 6. Maybe 1.
Anyway, I figure this is kinda just chaos right now. It'll settle into something eventually.

I wish we went by your rules, Funfetus. The way that the game is working right now, is depending on one person to submit and it can be a week before he/she gets around to it. If everyone can take a week to do their panel then the last person might have to wait months. On another note about the system now, If everyone drew their panel ahead of time, then their wouldn't be much continuity between panels. While I'm pointing out weak spots, If everyone just posted their "thumbnail" for the panels they intended to draw, whats the point of finishing it? You got the idea across. Thats all the next person needed. I see a lot of kinks. I know, I know , this is just for fun. Maybe I'm just upset cause my turn is so far away. >.

Yeah, that's exactly the kind of thing I'd like to avoid. I think the things I suggested would keep things moving quickly, with minimal hassle and maximum continuity and enthusiasm. Because what if it gets to your turn, and you don't have any ideas about where to go from the panel before yours?
I suppose we can put it to a vote. Or just start another thread.

EDIT!
Behold my placeholder. All of my art starts out like this.
I've been watching too much of that stupid Yugioh5d's show.
Fer numba six.

There fixed.
I think Railith's entry is more of a thumbnail for his final panel, meaning the idea should stay the same. Yours will probably still be valid.
...order of the stick style anyone?.....hmmmm?

At the start, make sure the rules are put up.
*Edit* Done. Let's see how this goes.
