. . . and one thing that she would definitely bring to the table is the ire of all the dyed-in-the-wool Republicans. They really want Hillary to be a candidate. Why? Is it because they support her views? Was this "Operation Chaos" bullshit intended to help the party? NO! Thay want someone they can beat! They know they can beat Hillary. They're salivating just thinking about it. If Obama picks her as VP, the Republicans will be overjoyed.
Obama can't pick Hilary for a running mate, even if he wanted to (which I doube he would). He needs to get a strong Southern Democrat to bolster his numbers in the South for the General Election. It is just that simple.
What I'd like to see is Obama's VP be either Edwards or Richardson. Then try and get Gore for the head of the EPA, and I was thinking McCain for Sec. of State.
