Forum banning

With Ichigo's recent banning, I was just wondering how many people on here have actually been banned. I know it can't be that high since most of the people on here seem to follow the rules.

P.S.-What exactically did Ichigo say to get banned? I wasn't online when it happened.

    Unless I am mistaken, Ichigo makes the second person to ever be banned on this forum.

    It's the third, unless you count all the incarnations of the FlammingGeek during that "FlammingGeek 2.0, 3.0 etc." event.

    First was FlammingGeek, of course.

    Second came the Matthew...something guy who pretended to be MitchyD (I think) and did nothing but troll.

    And finally, good ol' Ichigo.

    Three actually. Can't remember the name of the second guy. I think they should be listed in the rules thread (or at least adjust the number correctly.).

    So far it's techincally 7 users who have been banned.

    To answer OP's question, Ichigo was being a troll with his first post.

    What happened to the formal Court Marshall style of banning? Did we loose that only temporarily because of the lack of redeeming qualities of the recent bannings or is it gone for good?

    I think the moment members start agreeing that someone should be banned it's already so far that a Court Marshall is no longer needed. I was about to post in Ichigo's last thread but I got an error, thread was already locked and poster banned. I mean, what the hell do you expect with the post he made?

    That's still the S.O.P. I just put forth a summary judgement, due to the fact that there was nothing anyone could say to change my mind. I suppose it will be fairly rare for there to be any doubt in my mind once I get to the point of court martial.

    I don't think that was the post he was referring to. I didn't see what was written in the "My Apologies" thread either, so I'm quite confused about what he said that was so offensive as to convince Rym beyond a shadow of a doubt to bring down the banhammer.

    Not to mention, in Ichigo's case, this isn't just a matter of trolling but also appropriating a person's identity and associating it with a troll. This banned Ichigo was intentionally indexing Ichigo of Anime Pulse's. Hasn't the poor guy had enough flack as it is?

    Sigh, to all of you who did not read it, go thank Rym. It's not worth repeating, but since you all seem eager to know here's the gist of it: "Sorry was drunk, am stoked for going Japan, living the life! Drugs, WHOOOOOOOOO! Sex, WHOOOOOOOOOOO! Prolly booze too, WHOOOOOOOOOO!" What made Rym ban him on sight were the racist and sexist remarks in the post.

    Ack, hope it was more than that. I mean, it seems odd that I can put up a picture of a naked man doing strange things with his anus with no problem but if I were to type "I hate women and black people (possibly because I am high)", I'd be insta-banned... Didn't someone say he had stolen somebody else's handle?

    Posting possibly offensive content is not what gets people banned. People are banned because they obviously have not contributed anything to the forum, and show no signs of doing so in the future. People who increase the value of the forum will stay, and people who decrease the value will leave.

    Another podcaster and most likely to make him look bad but I don't think there is many listeners of that show here.
