  • "Righteous" is spelt wrongly in the title.
It isn't. I looked it up after you said that and it does have an "e" in it.

    That's because I fixed it.

It's spelled right now, but I believe that for a while it was spelled like this (or similar to this in the title: "rightious".

Not that I care, of course.

  • Thank you Scott!
  • I am often the target of Andrew's cyber bullying. It makes me very sad.
Don't feel sad, you know it's out of friendship.

  • Why I am so frustrated is this: Why is it that the people with what are initially good intentions end up being so harmful and anti-science?
Is the question you are asking, "Why do people with good intentions cause so much harm?" or "Why do people become anti-science?" or something else?

As they say "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
  • Just found this:
    2000 B.C. - Here, eat this root.

1000 A.D. - That root is heathen. Here, say this prayer.

1850 A.D. - That prayer is superstition. Here, drink this potion.

1940 A.D. - That potion is snake oil. Here, swallow this pill.

1985 A.D. - That pill is ineffective. Here, take this antibiotic.

2000 A.D. - That antibiotic is artificial. Here, eat this root.

Frank Yiannis, the former president of the International Association for Food Protection, gave a talk about the history of food safety at last year's annual meeting; the message was pretty much just that.

2000 BC: Here, quick, eat this food before it spoils
    [stuff]
2007 AD: Here, quick, eat this food before it spoils

    We've come a long way.
