55 mph (90 kph) is insane! On a road like that, the limits here in Australia would be around 70 mph (110 kph). 110 kph is still just an arbitrary number, and driving is dangerous at almost all speeds, but it really is closer to the limit of most people's ability to handle their vehicles safely than 55 mph, a speed which apparently causes frustration and impatience - and thus dangerous behaviour.
I think it's pretty funny how Scott insisted that he was "innocent" despite the evidence against him. I wonder if he really feels that way or if it was just showmanship. Either way, fight the good fight brother!
